1511 is a replacement for 1917. The school of CSE has just recently redesigned the course.
If you have prior experience with programming I would suggest taking 1511, 1911's content is half the content in 1511.
Maybe try 1911 and transfer to 1511 if you find 1911 too easy.
I had Hamilton last year for phys1121, he did lots of demonstration and also proofs, which helped a lot for the exam. I also had Brown for discrete math and I think his way of teaching is very engaging.
I actually haven't done this course but I think comp6441 is similar to 3441. Try this course on open learning: https://www.openlearning.com/courses/sec, this one was for 3441 last year, but only up to Module 4.
