    We get that too, like with all the Masterchef stuff that started the other week. But I will tell you, people are noticing the fall in budgets, I've had a few comments from customers that they've started to prefer shopping over on our side.

    If your normal rate is 17.50 at 130% of part-timer's wage, then you should get $37.69 as the public holiday rate (280% of normal part-time wage)

    Well, I know the register hangers aren't coming down until sometime in August. We have our aprons at the service desk to go back when you've finished your shift, but I'm sure nobody would mind if you took one home once it's all done if you really want to. And seriously, could their be any...

    Of course I did. I also ended up helping with the POS for the Masterchef. I really think Coles goes over the top, I think banners across aisles 1-6, giant posters on the windows, signs hanging from above the registers, signs on the security things, signs on the trolleys and making front end...

    With express item counts, do you mind if it's say a larger number of small items like 20 kiwi fruits or something like that plus some other items? I guess it's not so bad for us because we still have a quantity button :P

    Work just rang and asked If I wanted to do 5 hours tomorrow night "cleaning some stuff around the service desk and registers" I didn't think they were that dirty!
