Overall i thought the exam was pretty good. DOn't get me wrong, a few parts were rather challenging and i waffled on a bit in the extended responses but other than that i'd say it was fine. i had 45mins left at the end, lol. i thought the exam finished at 12 instead of 12.30 so i rushed through...
that acidic salts question was so silly. i don't remember the prac either. think i said copper sulphate. lol. only coz i know sulfuric acid is acidic. thought if i attached something to it then i'd be right.

The thing about question 6 is that when polymerisation occurs water is produced due to it being a xondensation reaction. So if 5 of the glucose monomers join then 4 water molecules will be produced also.
So if you calculate the weight of 5 glucose units = 5 * (C6H12O6) it gives you 900 but this...
yeah same, although for some reason the multiple choice and short answer seemed to take a lot longer than i'd planned for. not that they were really bad i just had to think about what the best answer would be.
I found the exam pretty easy overall. Although i wasn't expeecting it to be hard anyway. There were one or two questions which made me think but nothing major.
