If you want a unit where you don't have to do much I recommend Brain, Behaviour and Evolution.
If you are willing to put in some study time/make an effort then you should have no problem with BIOL108.
Did you do any sciences in the HSC?
That's great. If you are interested in some other easy science units, I recommend BBE100- Brain, Behaviour and Evolution. It had a 50 MC end of year exam. And if you are a humanities geek then you have to try out Greek Heroes and Heroines- my favorite course ever XD
I did Senior Science and Biology for the HSC and Chemistry for Prelim. I'm not going to lie to you, the people who did sciences in the HSC will have an advantage over you. However, if you apply yourself there is no reason why you cannot match or even exceed their marks.

Depending on how many people, you could do a ghost tour? That's what I did for my 18th birthday party  You get to know who your real friends are when they are willing to run around the city at night in torrential rain looking for ghosts because you say so.
In terms of rejection, I try to keep in mind the philosophy that "everything happens for a reason". Perhaps if you didn't get one job that just means that a better opportunity is around the corner. About a month ago I applied for like 4 jobs with woolworths/coles and didn't get them...then just...
I think Macquarie is up there for Speech Pathology, Audiology, Linguistics & Psych related stuff with the opening of the Hearing Hub building and the Simulation Hub in Y3A.
Currently reading "Five little Pigs" by Agatha Christie. Will be my fourth book of hers I have read including Murder on the Orient Express, the ABC Murders & Death on the Nile.
After that-planning on reading " Death in the Clouds" then "And then there were none"
