I answer all economics questions all the time.

They can be on any topic.

Both Section 3 and 4 can be assessed from any part of the syllabus

They seem to favor macro/micro economic policies and external stablitity in recent hsc papers
Yes,

Generally you will need to talk about this in some way. Often it won't say you have to but you must

They could be on any of the 4 topics in the HSC syllabus;
- Global Economy (i.e. globalisation)
- Australia's Place in the Global Economy (i.e. exchange rate, trade, protection)
- Economic Issues (eco growth, unemployment, external stability, inflation, enviornment)

The 2011 CSSA trial paper had the questions:
Section III
Discuss the impact of the current stace of monetary policy on the level of inflation and economic growth in the Australian economy
OR
Discuss the impact of persistent fiscal deficits on the level of economic activity in the Australian economy.

Section IV
Examine the links between the key BoP categories and the trends associated with the BoP in the Australian economy.
OR
Examine the influence of international organisations, government economic forum, trading blocs and free trade agreements on promoting globalisation.

Hope that helps a bit.
