im doing it, and think it will assist me to an extent. What is the importance of doing "legal studies" in year 11 and 12, my school doesn't offer it and although I realise it isn't a pre-requisite will I be at any series disadvantage in the future.
Because you know what University law degrees contain and everything.im doing it, and think it will assist me to an extent.
it does have relevance, despite being not prerequisite.
Well, you're wrong. The "substantive material" in legal studies covered in two weeks in first year and is of zero benefit.im doing it, and think it will assist me to an extent.

While that holds true for pretty much every subject at uni, your obvious penchant for proving other people wrong doesn't really help anyone here. If that poster enjoys legal studies and does well in it, then it's a good choice.Well, you're wrong. It's not even of benefit in terms of telling you whether you'll like the law. In my view, it may even be deceptive.
there is some concepts coverered in HSC that "introduce" the uni topics - which, yes, i have looked at.Because you know what University law degrees contain and everything.
that's your opinion.Well, you're wrong. The "substantive material" in legal studies covered in two weeks in first year and is of zero benefit.

considering the fact that i am scoring near 100% in every assessment task makes it worth while. and you'd have to be high to not say that it won't help me to some degree after school. While that holds true for pretty much every subject at uni, your obvious penchant for proving other people wrong doesn't really help anyone here. My only advice would be to try and strike a balance between subjects that you enjoy, subjects you excel at and subjects that scale well. The beauty of law is that you don't have to stress about picking your HSC subjects. They've got you covered on the English front so the rest is up to you.
It might help you in your first 3 lectures, but tbh it's so basic compared to the rest of the content that everyone that isn't completely retarded will pick it up pretty quickly. So yeah, it's not really that advantageous.considering the fact that i am scoring near 100% in every assessment task makes it worth while. and you'd have to be high to not say that it won't help me to some degree after school.
Scoring near 100% in ever assessment task is unimpressive, kid. More to the point, though, it's got nothing to do with preparing you for studying law. If you can do well enough at legal studies to jack your UAI up and get into law, then I say go for it. Just don't think it'll give you an edge on people who haven't done it.considering the fact that i am scoring near 100% in every assessment task makes it worth while. and you'd have to be high to not say that it won't help me to some degree after school.
perhaps you never got near 100%.Scoring near 100% in ever assessment task is unimpressive, kid. More to the point, though, it's got nothing to do with preparing you for studying law.
