Arguably the new and improved quillbot. Ask any question and it gives you an answer. No plagiarism because it independently generates. Godsend? Wolf in sheep's clothing?

Personally, I use ChatGPT for only the most tedious questions in my economics and english advanced essays on Gatsby that I don't have time to write.

As much as I love the application, I think it'll have grave impacts on students.. academic integrity will go out the window.. Sure, AI detectors might get better and better, but it's easy to reword the ideas it gives you. People will be using CHATGPT constantly, for assessments, for homework.. I think over time this will cause a decrease in essay writing ability and perhaps even critical thinking skills. Thus, the quality of exams and HSC writing will decrease. I'm tempted to put a blocker onto the app just to limit the temptation.

My friends say I'm being overdramatic. What do you think of ChatGPT? I'd love to hear everyone's opinions over here on BoredOfStudies.

Chatgpt helps heaps with my assessments. just don't be obvious with it though since teachers know about.

It’s definitely not an advanced search engine (it’s not even linked to the web and does tons of things that aren’t really “search engine”), it is overhyped though
