currently in year 11 with 13 units, doing maths standard, english advanced, english extension 1, sor2, modern history, legal studies and economics.
doing very bad (40-60%) in maths and economics. Is it possible to drop those 2 subjects and pick up extension 2 english? so i would be doing 10 units, 4u english, SOR2, legal and modern history.

Yes, I believe that's possible since a seemingly popular subject combination for highly capable students is Mathematics Extension 2, Physics, Chemistry and English Advanced (10 units), meaning you should be able to drop Mathematics Standard and Economics in order to pick up English Extension 2.

All the best! 😄
