went with q27, on the mix of promotional strategies. Decided to write a paragraph on e-marketing promotions, with full knowledge that it's not explicitly under "promotions" in the syllabus. Disadvantages?

Did anyone like integrate promotional strategies together..like talk about advertising and PR and say when used together it enhances it thats why a mix is needed?

Marketing was an absolute fucking dream. Only wrote the allocated booklet though, messed up with the report and spent an hour and 20 minutes on it. Only covered 3 elements of the promotion mix, still hoping for a decent mark

These questions are more 'specific' compared to 2013 Section IV.

In terms of difficulty:

I'd say 2013 Section IV was the easiest. 2012 Section IV was the hardest (very specific and Qantas didn't work that well for both questions iirc).
2014 Section IV seems somewhere in between.

Nevertheless, marketing essay option looks like a nice question. Even the HR question is great (Qantas would fit well with the industrial disputes, and I'm sure there's other case studies).
