Scaling of subject the same every year? (1 Viewer)

u kno the list available on the bored of studies site, the ranking of scaling of all the subjects, is that the same every year?

cos since ppl thought the chem exam was far more easier than physics will physics get scaled up more?

no, scaling is based on how the whole cohort does in not just the physics exam, but in every other exam they do. If they perform well as a group, then for physics, it will be scaled up. If the physics cohort outperforms the chem cohort overall in their other subjects, then physics will scale higher than chem. (hoping, hoping, since i hate chem :p)

hmmm...

so what if ur whole class sux at phy6 :p :p .. does that mean it wont get scaled up??

or what if there's only like 2 people thats good n the rest r....not so good :p.. does that mean only the 2 people get scaled up and the othaz dont?

Uhm, your individual class won't change anything to do with scaling.

Kaseita was referring to the performance of the entire physics candidature - everyone in the state who is doing the HSC physics course.
