I'm into all sorts of music from blink 182, offspring, chilli peppers, jack johnson, chemical brothers, some older music like steppenwolf, third eye blind, ive been going through all the american pie soundtracks and picking some music from there

But also depends what type of mood your in so we'll just say:

Cruising music (relaxing):
E.g. Eels-Beautiful Blues (from the Road Trip Cd), Blink 182, Offspring, Jack Johnson

Adrenaline Music:
E.g. Chemical brothers, Rod Zombie,

cheers for your comments though :D

can i hear a FUCK YEAH!

also something like against me....baby im an anarchist....best road trip / cruising song ever!

in terms of a road trip u gotta get something everyone can sing along 2, even if u dont like the music as such, so some songs are....

*bohemian rhapsody (wayne's world put this down as best crusing song ever)
*love shack
*brown eyed girl
*tainted love

and some songs that just belong at schoolies...
*BEER (reel big fish) - oh fuckng hell yeah, everyone has 2 take this 2 schoolies
*Beer Bong song - NOFX (not many people know it, but they should)
*Rape me - Nirvana (doesnt really need any introduction...)
*Hey, Ho, LEts Go (maybe try it as a pickup line...)
*SHe has a girlfriend now / Fuck off song (both classics by RBF)
*Fat Girls suck / Drunk again (hm....i see a RBF trend begining here...)
*Verity - Unpaid debt (u wont know it, but learn it, and i quote...."getting wasted everyday, trying to numb the constant pain, its easier to kill one liver than solve ten problems :D)
*wasted/make love/your rude get fucked/ladies want it/sex and sun/girls... (some ministry of sound songs :p)

*and the final, most important schoolies song, that is great 2 sing along 2, and typafies the schoolies experience....NEVER HAD SO MUCH FUN!!

comment at will, i ended up gettin bored and just roaming through media player looking for coool songs

Now you're just bagging out his tastes. If we were to reciprocate we could point out that your suggested bands are the manufactured punk band equivalents of say, Blink 182 a band which is admittedly, shameful late 90's teen rock. Notwithstanding this however, your suggestions are all a particular genre and (strikingly) similar sound...anyone can mash a guitar and swear into a microphone...it's not hard.

I would have thought that not insulting people for their tastes in music and making a constructive suggestion was the expected response to the question.

As for my suggestions, I agree with the suggestion of 80's stuff...i know this isnt concise, but this is what I'm taking with me in the car on Friday.

Aha/Reel Big Fish- Take on Me
Midnight Oil - Power and the Passion
Midnight Oil - King of the Mountain
Eurythmics - Sweet Dreams
TISM - Greg! The Stop Sign!
Cindy Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
Gerling - Get Activated
Queen - Another One Bites the Dust
The Pretenders - I Would Walk 500 Miles
The Cure - Lovecats
Gangajang - Sounds of Then
Blur - Song 2
Dandy Warhols - I am a Scientist
Spiderbait - Black Betty
Queen - We Are the Champions
The Whitlams - You Sound Like Louis Burdett
B-52s - Rock Lobster
Underworld - Underneath the Radar
The Whitlams - Royal in the Afternoon
Culture Club - Karma Chameleon
Patti LaBelle - Stir It Up ( From Berverly Hills Cop )
Huey Lewis and the News - The Heat is On ( Likewise B Hills Cop)
Billy Idol - You Spin Me Right Round
Flock of Seagulls - I Ran
Datarock - Fa Fa Fa
Stevie Wonder - Superstition
Talking Heads - Our House
Split Enz - I See Red
Journey - Any Way You Want It
Skeewiff - Man of Constant Sorrow
Mighty Mighty Bosstones - Impression that I Get
Barenaked Ladies - One Week
Bomb the Bass - Bug Powder Dust
Gerling - Blood on the Microphone Pt.1
Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.

Is that diverse enough? Or should I insist you take only the songs of one band like others here, and then bag you out?!

Flying is supremely lame. Why not go and make a package tour out of it at the same time with included menopause therapy?
