OMFG, OUR GODDAMN STUPID EXAMINATOR STOPED THE FREAKING EXAM LIKE 8 MINS EARLIER..

well i hav my stopwatch with me everytime i do an exam.. during the 1st paper, our exam supervisor stoped the exam right when it was 52mins. i told her, 'Mrs its only been 52mins?' she looked at the clock on the wall (one has stoped working for like atlleast 3 times through the whole year) and says, oh is it??? then i gave her a hint by saying 'yea rememeber? we came here at 3:25, we've talked and had 5 mins reading time, how cud we possibily finish the exam when its just 4:25?' then after 30 seconds, she said oh ok then, i will give uz anohter 5 mins.. and at the end she told us to stop writing AGAIN when it was only 58 mins on my stopwatch, and i didnt even pause the time when i was talkin to her...

our esl classes got divided into 4 groups for the purpose of better hearing in listening test, and we ended up finish the whole exam 1st at the end.. the rest of them didnt come out even after 5 mins... what a bad day!!

but anyways, NO MORE ENGLSIH!!!!!!!!!! FOREVER!!!!!!!!! YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i did dialogue and living n workin in the commnity.. the questions werent that, but i didnt do well.. especially when i didnt study the film techniques of strictly ballroom... honestly whats film technique got to do with my module in any ways.. finally the listening test... that woman made me so hungry during exam... like Damn i wanna eat that duck!!

i think i did well in paper 2. The questions for narrative were quite straightforward. i wrote about the stolen children. the question was sort of like last year's i think, except they substituted the word perception with perspective... but wait! no related text again?? what the hell? there was like an uproar just after paper 2. haha..
regarding the listening, boy, that guy speaks fast! At least i find it easier than the stupid CSSA trial.. and.. more appealing. what's another purpose of the interview? just to make sure.

You mean to advertise her new cooking book? The book is only introduced by the interviewer at the beginning and after that no mention at all, but I think it is acceptable.

I hate the question for Cinema Paradiso. Where does the word "emotional" come from in Telling Stories? I thought it is only in journey...

And if you did English for Study, did we need to write sub-headlines for report?

Oh no! What did you goes think about the Environment one?! I had to do a radio advertisement script for it, and I don't think I did pretty well. Hell none of my friends said they knew how to do a radio advertisement... damn...

p.s. now think about it, even though I didnt do the English for study, I should've done the report one, since I knew how to write a report, rather than an ads.

Comparing to the paper 1, the eassy that we have to write in paper2 module of dialogue was unexpected ... dialogue and camera technique to express idea through humour ... like seriously that was so out of my expectation ... i thought itz gotta be like sumthin discribing the interpersonal nature AND STUFF ... and it didnt ask for extra text which i've been preparing for long ... the length of passage was patheticlly short ... i did only 2 and a half page ... as i would usually do 3 ...

For the community and work text i would say ... it was a pretty easy one just that ... i might have forgot some element that is suppose to be included in the advestiment .... apart from the script is there anything else that we gotta add to it ? like the backgound music ... ? and whatsoever tat is ...

Listening was easy ... i reckon errbodi is doing well in that part ... especially Chinese in my class ... the concept of yin yang aye? just doubt if i got everything right in the part " how Kylie show the personality of her mum ... "
something abt dinner party to show she is social active ... and ... willing to learn and well fitted in the country ... by making aussie desert? ... XD
Iono ... correct me if u got a better idea ... I said advertise her new cook book as well ... as someone has mention ... its been said at the beginning of the interview ... and um ... the interview itself has been talking about food and how her family's been the representative of the chinese cursine ... and um ... mum that master the cooking .... seems like she is putting more value on herself to promote the new book .... thatz abt it ...

band 5 would be alright ...

suppose errbodi get good result in paper 1 and sorta freak out in paper 2 aye ... ?

I wrote Kylie's mother was a social person.. like u said. and also she's the worst critic. As all Kylie's staff was afraid of her when she came to Kylie's restaurant.

But I think I got the wrong answer for the peking duck question, I said it was a perfect example because the dish was colourful and it makes such plain food into "an explosion" of texture and flavour.

but my friends said it's about colour balance... damnit.

And the advertisement. r u serious u thought it was easy? I'm not very confident with it. and for example im doing community work, but could I have done English for study? since I knew it more..? man its abit too late to ask that...

this paper 2 was much better than stupid journey one...
Listening was okay too...but our freakin' supervisor kept on making stupid
noises at it pissed me off a lot....

and i personally found Kylie's mother question a bit ambiguous.
Did any one write down its answer as 'Her mother is a person who likes to be socialised with other people and loves cooking' ?
And, what did you guys write for first question in listening? i just said they were popular because they made fried rice for otherpeople.. which is quite lame Keke

I wrote they were popular because their mother knows how to cook chinese food which is very rare at the time. (or something, since they said they were the only chinese people around.. so chinese food = rarity haha)

yeah, i was a bit surpirsed that it didn't ask for a related text. as well. i was looking up and down, checking out questions for othet texts (i'm doing Cinema Paradiso) to see if this was meant to be a cheeky question, but no, not anywhere metioned about a related text.

i and my friend talked about this, and our conclusion is that if you included a related text which is not asked in the question, the marker might think that you are just reproducing a prepared essay, so you might be at disadvantage...
sorry ...

well, my report was basically, heading, summary, subheading, recommandtion and conclusion!!!!

by the way, i really think that this question was very unexpected and stupid!! i spent so much time on practing my essay on study skills and it was no good use! :mad1:

yeah...i actually found the listening really confusing and i ran out of time and i didnt get to write anything for the purpose :(

i did the dialogue question and the radio advertisments and i thought both were ok. no surprises

even though, i have a feeling i stuffed them up anyway..especially listening because i was sick.

do u guys know for the misadventure form, do i need to get my doctor to fill it for section C?
