I'm offering academic comeback assistance. Here's what I provide you as a tutor.
Firstly, here's my own improvement and the HSC results I got
Although I faced some very average marks as year 11 came to a close, I still finished year 12 at a top ranking selective school (Fort Street High School, 2024) with an ATAR of 99.30 and a band 6 in every single one of my subjects.
IN MATHEMATICS...
I went from ranking low 20s in Year 11 for Mathematics to getting:
96 in Yr12 4U Mathematics, ranked 4th internally
96 in Yr12 3U Mathematics, ranked 3rd internally

A RAW
49/50 in my 3U trials
IN PHYSICS...
I also sharply improved my physics grades, starting with marks in the mid 70s in Year 11 but ending with a:
93 in Physics by the end of Year 12, ranked 5th in the school

A
High Distinction in the
Australian Physics Olympiad (top 0.5% of the nation)
So, how I will help you
?
When you book with me, we will first go through an skills assessment session.
Here we will work out:
a) How well you understand the concepts
b) Narrow down on your main struggles
c) Create a tailored study plan to help you reach your ATAR goals
From there, we'll have weekly meetings where I:
---> teach you some of the best methods in the state
---> give you *personalised resources* and HSC-style questions
---> assign and mark your practice papers
**
**I have a lucrative set of past papers and notes from all the top-ranking schools
This will be focused on not only understanding concepts, but also building a framework that allows you to approach even the freaky, unexpected questions that come your way.
Who will I tutor and where can you find me?
I don't care how low your marks are. We can get them up.
I'm mainly looking to tutor
4U and 3U Mathematics, but I can also help you with
Physics and
2U Mathematics.

For prices, expect around $50 per hour online and $60 in person (anywhere near Burwood) - but we can negotiate if you contact me or want group tutoring
Good luck with your HSC and academic glow-ups,
Sambodh
Avoid this tutor – extremely unprofessional and poorly organised.
My experience with Sambodh was consistently disappointing. During one lesson, while I was speaking to another student, he suddenly told me to “shut the f*** up” in an aggressive tone. When I messaged him after the class to explain that this was unprofessional, he refused to apologise and insisted it was “justified” because I was “starting to be disruptive.”
His math lessons are also extremely disorganised. Even when given notice about which topics I wanted to cover, he would show up with nothing prepared and simply open the textbook, making us do question after question with no structure. The entire lesson consisted of attempting questions on our own, and if we couldn’t do them, he’d do it for us and the cycle repeated. There was no clear teaching, no planned explanations, and no progression.
He charges $50 per hour for group physics tutoring, he justified the price by claiming he provides “handmade lecture booklets.” We did not receive a single booklet for over nine weeks. This rate seems unfair considering his hsc mark and that the lessons are online.
He also lacks any flexibility with lesson timing or scheduling. If I needed to adjust a session due to school commitments or assessments, he was unwilling to accommodate even minor changes.
When I questioned the high rates given the lack of materials and poor organisation, he removed me from the group class. He then told me that the rates “shouldn’t matter” since I wasn’t attending his class anymore.
He also took seven weeks to cover centripetal motion, and his pacing was far behind our school’s, even though tutoring is supposed to stay ahead. He shows up too lessons with almost no sleep which i also find unproffesional. When I raised these concerns again, he ended our lessons entirely and said, “shouldn’t matter, sessions aren’t happening.”
Overall, I found his behaviour unprofessional, his teaching unstructured, and his attitude dismissive. I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere for tutoring if you want a tutor who can take feedback and not be disrespectful.
