I was really looking forward to having to explain some huge chemical reaction. Like the production of acid rain/NOx/Sulphur junk in the atmosphere! There were none at all! Even explaining the cycle of the Cl- and ClO would have been fun, but all for not. :eek:

I know! What a bloody waste of my study time yesterday. I studied so hard for all those stupid formulas. It turns out that they don't need many at all!

I could've focused my time on other questions.

i managed to use some relatively big eqn... :rolleyes:

i stuck a nuke eqn into the "describe how isotopes produced", just for fun :D

I managed to work a few one line eqns into bits here and there.
Who used UO2 pellets in their explanation for making commercial radioisotopes?

i wrote big eqns... the sulfate reducing bacteria one... cobalt 60 from iron 58 in 3 steps one various electrolysis and aerated corrosion eqns for iron and other metals lol and some other ones i chucked in when trying to look hard :D.... not gonna save me though:(

Unlike most of you I still have next year to work on 11 units so Chemistry doesn't count :p If I botch it...

they asked all the 'smaller' dot points and avoided all the really big things like cfcs :(

I agree, I learnt the equations and stuff for those types of things and none of them were asked, not even the solvay process in industrial chem... oh well....

yes i wanted one of them, they are so easy for about 4/5marks
