They say you should derive formulas as a safety net in case you mess it up right?
Also I’m pretty sure the given solutions aren’t necessarily a top band answer.

Not too much effort but annoying nonetheless.

Did anyone noticed that the solution of this question's wrong? Accoriding to the DE the derivative cannot be negative,i.e. the function is increasing, while the solution is not mononic

Also, if you draw a vector field, the solution would be like a piecewise function, which flats out when . Even if the markers can't see this, the step where integrate is incorrect, as you haven't check , and this condition is not necessary for the original differential equation

You would have to restrict the domain to between pi/2 and -pi/2 inclusive, where it is defined which they left out

edit: wait the domain would be different bc of the horizontal translation, but you get the idea right (-pi/2 < x + pi/6 < pi/2)
