Hey I'm just curious. In the HSC exam, can they ask you to use a set prescribed text no matter what? Because I was thinking of just using P & P and North and South...goddamn hate poetry~~ Cuz I heard that in Eng adv they can ask you in Frontline a specific episode so yeah.

Thx everyone.

Thank God and all that is holy, they can't. Not everyone does every set text, so they can't say "Refer to North and South"-- I, personally, haven't done North and South.

English Advanced is a different story. In speeches, in poetry, they can ask you about a specific speech or poem because you're meant to have studied all of them. In Ext English, you study 3 of the 4 set texts.

Hence I never have to use P&P, tfc.

What Az said.

I'm in her class, and we didn't do N+S.

I refuse to use Browning though. So P+P and Doll's House for me.
