Question 3) b)

Anyone know how to make a graph look like that? I want to try and work out the answers.

So if anyone knows the template to make graphs look like that, ill give you a well done.

For those curious enough, here's the answers:

Red = original equation.
(i) light blue
(ii) green
(iii) yellow

yeh graphing questions have always been standard. they've never really asked us to do anything else besides |f(x)}, 1/f(x) etc.

Yeah, graphings easy, I love it!

For the question though, alternatively, y = 6e^(-1/23x^2) - 2 produces a similar style graph.

Yep got them all. Might loose a mark because one of my kind of kinks on the 0 instead of being a smooth turning point like it should.

But using 25, it actually cuts the x-axis at +/- 5. Worked it out from the general shape of y=e^-(x^2)

no. graph is alway hard.......f....off...
