This was how i did my own hair for my formal. I just blow dried it with a few barrel brush. I would suggest getting your hair blow dried if you have thin hair as it creates a lot more volume then a curler/iron with the exact same effect.

But then when someone does something different (like my friend) you say it's shit.

Just because it's different doesn't make it good.

so pretty D:

I want something like that. I would attempt to do my own hair and make up, but I wouldn't know how to start. I really suck in that department

I hope the hairdresser lady doesn't screw up my face and hair though...

get her to blowdry it.

Have you booked in an appointment already? cos if I were you I'd just go to Joh Bailey and get a round barrel blow dry and then get your makeup booked at a makeup counter with a makeup artist.

I'd suggest bobbi brown or laura Mercier because of your asian skin. They've got a lot of makeup for asian skin tones.

I have booked it :(

I'll ask her to blow dry it though. Does it stay in for a while?

Yeah, it holds better than a GHD.

Just get some hairspray put through it and it should last you the night.

For anyone who's tryna decide what to wear for future formals..you could always go with the cultural path! :D
