I'm doing Retreat From The Global, but I've got one main idea, which I know can be drastically reformed and reshaped to fit the question.

my teacher gave us weeks upon weeks of outside school studies to come up with a main character (know every detail about the him/her) with a main story line, then about 3 other characters and sub stories. So pretty much, creative can suck me cos we're so prepared :D :D :D

...what if we get one of the really hard creatives where we have to wirte as a persona from one of our texts?

I would hate one of those!!

Seriously, give me anything OTHER than writing as Nora or something!!

I have a nice story all worked out... hopefully they will just give us a picture and it will be nice and easy to work in :)

Begging for something really simple, like a picture of a woman holding... I dunno a vase or something aha :) What if they want a male protagonist? They have had one picture in the past of a male in a poorer looking house... I think that would throw me :S

i've got nothing :(
i'm so ultimately bad at creative writitng, it's not funny.
oh, and i thought the adopting characters from the novels was kinda good.. i did one with Margaret and Thornton after they got married and what not.. and it marked vaguely ok-ish...
i think i'll go and attempt writing one as i feel quite bad seeing all you super-good at writing people.. :)

Ahaha I haven't even attempted one of the other ones :S
I've only done a basic creative writing.

I have noticed that there is a new trend towards images being used though... I wonder if that will stay the same?

What were your trials like?

I'm more general, and discussing child upbringing, the typical gender issue, and the idea of 'duty' and 'obligation' and self-determination of course :)

Science-Religion is a good one I've found.... I'll chuck it in if needs be :p

I'm okay at learning things straight off... but then I can't get the words in my mind right to fit a specific question so I'm thinking of learning the best parts and then just... going with it?

I hope the first question is a quote, rather than a general question.
What topics are you lot doing?

I've also got nothing...
The one I did in my trial was pretty sad so I won't be using it...
I'm going to think of one tomorrow T_T;

I don't do individual in society; but, I hope whatever my creative question is I can fit my story in... it's perfect and I don't have time to think of an equally good story when I'm yet to write my essay.

for IS
does it have to be a story as if we are writting in 19th century
or does it just have to be a story about the 19th century

cause i know post modern was not around in 19th century, but couldnt i write a story that was based in 19th century and have the individual and stuff but write not like 19th century composers

does that makes sense???

I'm finding it hard to think up a good storyline for this component. I have written creative writing pieces for I&S before (obviously) but they been mostly hopeless as I just haven't planned them well enough. Oh well.

I've got one main story that can be manipulated to a degree. I have a few others and writing something on the spot isn't too difficult if you make it interesting, well written and stick to the conventions of your genre (I'm doing Spec Fic actually).
Good Luck, Everyone. =D

I have nothing actually written properly. I refuse to write my previous stories.

At this point I'll just be crapping something up as I go along, based on one of the ideas I already have.

I'm hoping they have a vague stimulus though.
