Well when i was doing the HSC my case studies were:
- feminism
- technology and post modernism
- the connection of art and politics through history

your case studies seem a bit more interesting lol
good luck with it

mike parr would have been really interesting.
but he kinda freaks me out.
like alot.
i remember watching the one where he makes himself suffocate and it looks disgusting. you see his eyes roll to the back of his headf and his face goes these awful colours.
too shocking and confronting for me.

If people could choose their own case studies what would they be?

Marcel Duchamp because he invented many of the ideas behind postmodernism.
Andy Goldsworthy's good for artist's practice and audience. Just watch rivers and tides a few times.
Spencer Tunick for fun. Naked states and naked world are good videos, great for practice as you can watch him develop from an unknown to an established photographer
Banksy and street art, see Exit thru the gift shop & Rash

There's heaps more for the choosing. I also like Ben Quilty, Adam Cullen, (Toulouse Lautrec, Francis Bacon,) because of the current blockbuster exhibitions, Andy Warhol, Vincent, etc etc. Who floats your boat?
