I've re-phrased the questions that I did for the exam, just to make things clearer:

Mod A, Q1:
Transformations is an interesting topic. To what extent do you agree? Refer to your set texts in your answer.

Mod B, Q2:
Compose an argument of two people about a novel. (Cheers to all the students who bothered to practice last year's HSC question, because this one's exactly the same, only broader.)

Mod C, Q11:
Regurgitate what your teacher has taught you this year related to the nth syllabus dot-point (namely the representation of events, personalities and situations).

part 2 isn't an argument, it's a discussion about how the text was received in different ways (i.e. not necessarily in opposite ways, such as an argument)
so basically i had my guys go "hmm, interesting point. but have you thought of blah blah blah?" :)

It was even broader than that in my opinion...

Module A and C:

Q1 (In The Wild):

What's happened in the world in the last 70 years?
Did your book/film mention any part of real life?

Q2 (Lear):

Talk about all aspects of a play. Be creative in your language.

Q3 (Telling the Truth):

Were you awake in class by the end of the year? If so, what did you hear?

NB: "We at the BOS are to lazy to create multiple questions. Let's just make the question broad and give it to everyone, that makes our job easier." :D
