if you can try to find business that are super busy over Christmas and/or back to school because it’s a lot more convenient for uni to be able to work a ton in holidays and not much during sem and yes definitely worth it

depends what ur studying, i personally exclusively use pen and paper because for me notes are just to remember stuff during the lecture anyway and it’s best for memory retention, depends what ur studying though. definitely still need a decent laptop for uni though a lot of stuff is done online...

I have a friend who got offers to both and I think she ended up choosing Sancta because it’s the more social/party college of the two, so I guess if that’s not what you want women’s might be better

I’m doing the exact same thing regarding hecs using a hisa (but without a scholarship because usyd hates my farm’s suburb 💔) and it’s just common sense, there’s no reason to pay off your hecs atm and if interest rates drop and indexation is set to rise you can just quickly pay it off before it...

I’d ask them if you can take time off from ≈start of term 3 to the end of the hsc, because it is nice to be able to have a job once you finish the hsc. working during year 12 didn’t really cause any issues for me, just make sure they know you don’t want too many shifts and you should be fine

people who help run the society. in big societies you’ll have an executive who make the big decisions etc and then subcommittees below the executives who actually do a lot of the stuff
