    An ATAR of 80 is very achievable with those subjects. Sometimes doing easy subjects is more beneficial in the long run as it is easy to ace them and consequently get a high ATAR. As long as she works hard and puts in the study hours, she should be able to get 80+.

    Advanced Maths is really hard - maybe consider do you really need to do it? for example is it a prerequisite for the uni degree you're interested in? consider the impact that it will have on your other hsc studies as well - are you doing so poorly that it will drag down your whole atar or stop...

    Definently extension 2 maths is the hardest, followed by physics and chemistry. Extension English quite hard too.

    Well PROBABLY but it isn't guaranteed. From my experience it isn't easy to get a band 6 in biology, you have to really know your stuff. I remember doing every past paper multiple choice and getting 18 + in everyone, then in the actual hsc I got 13 because our exam was nothing like the past...
