I'm doing comm/maths (actl,fins).. and was sort of half thinking of doing law.. I had an atar of 98 so I only needed 70 wam.. I sorta lazed back and got fucked by the maths cause I didnt keep up to date... and got a wam of 69.. just keep up to date and work hard.
Does anyone have a plan what they are doing with those majors? in particular accounting and actuarial? because I'm finding it hard to actually get the accreditation for accounting if i was to do this combo..
Is the acturiaral and mathematics combined degree actually worth it.... Would it be possibly better to do comm/eco considering I could be doing actl/fins and eco which would be all business related? essentially I dont really know the benefits of actually completing the mathematics degree with...
To be good at actl you should work hard and make connections.
Do extracurricular stuff just for the sake of it.
Rejecting scholarships and cadetships and saying that you didnt accept it is basically useless after 3 years of uni.. I mean.. whats the point of saying something that you didnt...
Your question would be totally dependent on your hsc results. I personally would prefer to go to either usyd, unsw, macq for eco compared with wollongong but if your results are not high enough or maybe even the location is better..... then maybe it is a good choice for you.
