Hi guys, looking to sign up for a ucat tutoring place but just wondering, does anyone have any opinions on which is best?

Any general tips on going for med would also be much appreciated.

honestly any platform would work. If you start getting repeating mock tests then js pay for another platform. In relation to ucat prep i would say js practice all the different types of questions you can. Also do prep consistently. In relation to going for med, maximise ur ucat, maximise ur atar, ace the interviews 🙏 Good luck!!

yeah makes sense, thankyou!

i was thinking about either signing up to medentry or medify but the consensus seems pretty divided on which is best, has anyone tried either/have strong opinions about these?

Honestly there isn't too much of a difference and it probably doesn't matter which one you pick

Hi!
I'm a UNSW Medical student, and along with around 5 other UNSW med students we're planning on running UCAT workshops in the coming year and 1 on 1 lessons to check your understanding and give personalised feedback.

Just to give you guys are bit of understanding about our programme that we're offering, we'll have UCAT subsection specific tutors that will teach you THAT section of the UCAT, rather than a general tutor. One of our tutors has an 870 VR, another has had a 880 DM, 2 of our tutors (myself included) scored a 900 QR and I also scored a 707 SJT. Our top tutor has a 3430 UCAT!

Regarding some general tips for going into med, we actually had a free webinar just yesterday that you unfortunately missed out on, but I'm happy to provide the slides to it, with some tips from our tutors on how to prepare for each section, and I'm sure you'll find it extremely useful!

Personally, I used Medify, but I don't think there's much difference between the two preparation platforms.
