From Biki

Biki content is freely accessible to the general public, but pages can only be edited by registered users.

How to register

Biki shares a user database with the rest of the Bored of Studies websites, including SAM and our community forums.

If you already have an account with us, there's nothing more you need to do. If not, you'll need to register.

Problems logging in?

If you have registered an account and are still having problems logging in, it may be due to your username.

Unfortunately, the Biki software (MediaWiki) places restrictions on usernames that are in addition to those enforced by our forum software (vBulletin). These restrictions may initially be somewhat problematic for a small minority of users.

The characters # + < > [ ] | { } cannot be used in a Biki username.

If your forum username already includes one of these illegal characters, please let us know: mailto:wiki@boredofstudies.org. We will need to change your username in order for you to be able to contribute to the Biki. For consistency, your username will be changed throughout the site.

The underscore ( _ ) character also presents a unique situation. While usernames may utilise this character, it is read as a blank space by the Biki software. As a result, "User Name" and "User_Name" are interpreted to be the same username and will result in a collision. If your username collides with that of another user due to an underscore, one of the usernames will need to be changed. Please contact us if you feel this problem might be affecting you.
