Residential Schools
There are three compulsory residential schools, usually held at UNSW, which include both lectures and discussion, and are good for meeting other people doing your course. They are usually the most enjoyable part of the coursem and also the part in which you will learn the most. The schools are quite intensive, but also fairly informal.
Assessment
Assessment consists of four essays of 500-750 words, one for each core module. The fourth one is an essay held in exam conditions at the last residential school. These are each worth 5% of total marks.
There is also a 1500-2000 word essay for each of the option topics chosen. These are worth 20% each.
The final 40% of marks are allocated to a two hour examination, held at your school, in which there is one question on each of the Core Modules.
