SAM (Student Assessment Modeller) has been designed to provide you with all of the information you need to know about your HSC marks and courses. Using SAM, you can see exactly how each of your courses has been scaled in the past, which courses have had students scoring in the upper bands, and even what your UAI could have been in a previous year. By using SAM, students are able to clearly identify which areas they need work in, and how improvements in certain subject areas will affect their overall UAI.

Standard vs. Advanced (Premium) SAM

Standard SAM is free to use for all Bored of Studies Members and allows for single UAI calculations based on the provided marks.

The Advanced version of SAM for Premium BOS Members, provides users with a greater depth of knowledge and information related to their calculated UAI score. Not only are users able to compare their marks against historical data (to see what they'd score in previous years), users are also provided with detailed scaling and band distribution graphs for their selected subjects. This and a whole range of added benefits of Advanced SAM are detailed in the table below.
